SEI Sells Family Office Tech Arm to Aquiline for $120M
SEI has agreed to sell its Family Office Services business to private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners for $120 million. This division offers wealth management and accounting software for ultra-wealthy families. SEI says the deal will allow it to focus on other core areas, while Aquiline sees it as a way to build on its existing investments in financial infrastructure. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025. After the deal closes, the business will operate as Archway, leveraging its well-known brand in the family office market. Archway, founded in 2002, was acquired by SEI in 2017 and later rebranded as SEI Family Office Solutions. SEI reported that as of December 31, 2024, its Family Office Services business managed $723 billion in assets on the Archway Platform.
Copia Launches AI Platform for Advisors
Copia Wealth Studios has launched Copia – Clarity, an AI-driven wealth management platform for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and advisors managing complex portfolios. The platform automates data extraction from financial documents, offering real-time portfolio insights, performance benchmarking, and forecasting tools. The tool brings together structured and unstructured data into a unified dashboard, and consolidates investment data across asset classes like private equity, real estate, and venture capital. Copia was founded in 2021 and is based in San Diego. In December 2024, it acquired Kinship—a relationship management app for wealth managers—as part of its broader strategy to develop a unified operating system for asset owners and managers.
Flanks Raises €14M to Scale Wealth Automation Platform
Barcelona-based wealthtech Flanks has raised €14 million in a round led by Motive Ventures, with participation from Battery Ventures, Earlybird, JME Ventures, and 4Founders Capital. The funds will fuel European expansion and further development of Flanks LUME, its end-to-end wealth data platform. Flanks processes over 500,000 portfolios monthly, covering €37B+ in assets across public and private markets. The platform helps banks and advisors automate data aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting—aiming to digitize wealth management.
Trusted Family Opens Austin Office to Grow U.S. Presence
Governance and collaboration platform Trusted Family has opened a new office in Austin, Texas, to support its growing North American client base. Chief Revenue Officer Arnaud de Coninck has relocated to lead the expansion, citing Austin’s dynamic innovation ecosystem and plans to build a local team as part of the firm’s U.S. growth strategy.

RSM to Use Arch for Private Markets Accounting
RSM US LLP has selected Arch to streamline its private markets data workflows, integrating the platform with its FamilySight® system to automate document processing and reduce reconciliation time. The move marks a shift away from Canoe Intelligence, which RSM previously used for alternatives data automation. While Arch and Canoe Intelligence offer competing solutions in the alternatives data space, Canoe confirmed it still integrates with RSM’s FamilySight platform and continues to share clients with the firm.
Elysys Integrates with Arch
Elysys Financial Systems has announced a new integration with Arch. Users of Elysys’ Private Equity Funds module can now import investment data directly from Arch using their “Bank Gateway” connection. This includes fair market value updates and transaction flows that sync straight into Elysys’ accounting journal.
Collation.AI Joins Sage Intacct Marketplace with Investment Reporting Integration
Collation.AI is now available on the Sage Intacct Marketplace, offering investment performance reporting tools that integrate with Sage’s general ledger. Users can access key metrics like TWR, IRR, Sharpe Ratio, PME, and TVPI without leaving the Sage environment. The platform pulls financial data from Sage and combines it with client sources such as CRMs, portfolio systems, and PDF statements. Users can run tailored reports, track ownership across entities, and post journal entries from bank feeds back into Sage.
Canoe Intelligence and Prime Buchholz Launch 'Asset Data PrimePlus'
Canoe Intelligence and Prime Buchholz have introduced Canoe Pro Tech: Asset Data PrimePlus, a solution designed to streamline alternative investment workflows. By combining Canoe’s data extraction technology with the PrimePlus® analytics platform, the tool automates the conversion of unstructured portfolio data into actionable insights—reducing time spent on exposure analysis and monitoring.
BlackCloak Expands Cybersecurity Offering and Forms Strategic Alliance to Protect High-Profile Clients
BlackCloak has launched an enhanced cybersecurity package tailored to family offices and high-net-worth households, designed to secure both personal and professional digital environments. The service includes continuous monitoring of personal devices, home network scans, identity theft protection with insurance coverage, business email security, and online privacy tools that remove personal data from broker sites and monitor the dark web for exposure. BlackCloak has also partnered with Blackbird.AI to expand its protection to reputational and narrative threats. The collaboration combines BlackCloak’s digital security with Blackbird.AI’s expertise in detecting harmful narratives, misinformation, and digital risks targeting corporate leaders and high-profile individuals—providing broader protection across both cyber and reputational fronts. To support its growth, BlackCloak appointed Jana Whitcomb as Vice President of Partnerships.
BetaNXT and Fi-Tek Launch TrustWealthX Platform
BetaNXT, in collaboration with Fi-Tek, has introduced TrustWealthX, a platform designed to enable clients to seamlessly manage and report on trust, brokerage, and wealth businesses. This integration addresses the issue of siloed processing between trust and non-trust accounts by providing a consolidated view of positions and balances across all accounts. BetaNXT provides infrastructure and data solutions to the wealth management industry, while Fi-Tek is an integrated wealth solution. Its proprietary platform, Rockit® Command, was purpose-built for the Rockefeller family.
Luminary April 2025 Update
Luminary introduced several updates in April. New features include automatic state estate tax calculations (excluding Connecticut), interactive business ownership maps, visual diagrams for dispositive provisions and improved AI-driven document summaries. Users can now upload asset valuations in bulk via CSV and generate estate waterfalls automatically.
FundCount Automates Cash Reconciliation in Latest Update
FundCount’s latest update introduces automated cash reconciliation, allowing internal records to be matched with bank and credit card statements without manual checks. The update also restricts asset and liability imports to General Ledger IDs only, reducing misclassifications. Integration with services like Twelve Data ensures consistent market data.
Mantle Launches Portal Reports for Real-Time Investment Data
Mantle’s new Portal Reports tool uses AI to convert fund documents into real-time dashboards. Features include portfolio snapshots, valuation bridges, exposure tracking, and cash flow analysis, source traceability and update alerts.
Alkymi and Google Cloud Join Forces
Alkymi is using Google Cloud infrastructure to scale its document and data automation tools. The update focuses on helping investment managers automate the extraction and processing of data from fund statements, capital calls, and other PDFs. As part of the rollout, Alkymi is launching its first deployment in Saudi Arabia’s Dammam region.
Forest Systems and Summitas Partner to Streamline Financial Reporting
Forest Systems, an integrated accounting software provider for family offices, and Summitas, a secure client portal and digital vault provider, have announced a strategic partnership to streamline document-sharing and reporting workflows. The collaboration will allow users to manage financial reporting and share sensitive documents more easily and securely.
Callan Family Office Partners with Foundation Source on Philanthropy Offering
Callan Family Office has teamed up with Foundation Source to offer clients a full suite of philanthropic solutions, including support for private foundations and donor-advised funds (DAFs). The partnership follows Foundation Source’s October 2024 acquisition of Vennfi, expanding its capabilities to deliver integrated giving tools to wealth managers and their clients. In related news, Foundation Source has appointed Suzanne van Staveren to its Board of Directors.
Wealth.com Partners with Cetera to Expand Estate Planning Access
Wealth.com has partnered with Cetera Financial Group to offer its estate planning platform to over 12,000 financial advisors in Cetera’s network. The partnership supports growing client demand for integrated financial and estate planning, as trillions in generational wealth are expected to change hands in the coming decades.

Leafplanner has partnered with Long Angle, a private community for high-net-worth individuals, to offer its platform to Long Angle's members. leafplanner helps affluent families organize, manage, and map their complex family and enterprise information more effectively.
BridgeFT and ShellBlack Launch Multi-Custodial Data Tool for Salesforce FSC
BridgeFT and ShellBlack have partnered to deliver a Multi-Custodial Data Aggregator Accelerator for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. The solution connects data from over 900 custodians—including Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and Interactive Brokers—providing a unified view of client accounts, positions, balances, transactions, and tax lots. It includes automated syncing, household-level visibility, and pre-built reports and dashboards.

Vanilla Hires Former Goldman Sachs, Brex Executives
Estate planning platform Vanilla has added two senior hires as it continues to scale. Hanna Grokenberger Byers, formerly of Goldman Sachs, joins as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Operations. Joe Abbott, previously at Brex, steps in as Chief Marketing Officer. The appointments come on the heels of Vanilla’s Series B $35M funding round led by Insight Partners and several high-profile advisors. The company reports 300% growth year-over-year and is expanding both its product and client base, especially among financial advisors and institutions.
Canoe Appoints Zack Helgeson as Head of Product
Canoe Intelligence has named Zack Helgeson as head of product to lead its product strategy and innovation in alternative investment data automation. Prior to joining Canoe, he served as Head of Product Strategy, Analytics at Nasdaq, where he developed private markets product strategies to enhance institutional data access and analysis. His background also includes roles at Cambridge Associates and Brighthouse Financial, focusing on data-driven solutions.
