SumIt has appointed Billy Heaton as Senior Software Engineer. Billy brings a background spanning design and software development, with experience building web-based tools and an early career that included agency work on Apple’s well-known Mac vs. PC campaigns. He joins SumIt as the company continues to build out its engineering foundations.
SumIt is also now officially partnered with BILL through a family office-specific integration, building on its integration with Addepar. This aligns SumIt with two widely adopted platforms in the family office ecosystem, strengthening its role as a unifying layer across payments, accounting, and investment data.
Mantle has teamed up with InfoGrate to address ongoing data and workflow challenges in private markets. The partnership centres on Mantle Portal, an AI-native platform that extracts and structures data from GP portals and investor communications. InfoGrate will integrate Mantle’s data into clients’ existing technology stacks, including accounting, reporting, and data warehouse environments, so it can be used consistently across the organisation. Mantle operates in a similar problem space to platforms such as Canoe and Arch, all focused on reducing manual effort, improving data consistency, and supporting more timely decision-making for family offices and private wealth managers.
Padman Perumal joined RedBlack Software as Executive Chairman and Board Member. He brings over 25 years of fintech and enterprise software experience, including senior roles at Credit Suisse and JPMorgan and most recently serving as CEO of Masttro. His appointment follows Carlyle’s acquisition of intelliflo, which will see RedBlack spun out as a standalone, U.S.-focused RIA technology provider, operating under its reclaimed original brand.
Sage Intacct rolled out Close Workspace to streamline and accelerate the financial close, alongside expanded Copilot features for drafting notifications and AI-powered help search. The release also deepens automation across expenses, assets, consolidation, contracts, and construction workflows, while adding US-specific 1099 updates and enhanced customer statement controls.
SS&C Black Diamond has added a two-way integration with eMoney Advisor to its Financial Planning application. Advisors can link multiple eMoney plans to a single client relationship, control which plans are active and visible in the client portal, and manage all plans via a centralised dashboard that supports filtering by goals and probability of success. Data syncs between eMoney, SS&C Financial Planning Application, and the Black Diamond Client Portal, reducing platform switching.
Wealth.com and Advyzon have launched a direct integration that connects estate planning with advisors’ existing workflows. Client and portfolio data flow from Advyzon into Wealth.com, reducing duplicate data entry. The companies say the integration is intended to support more efficient, up-to-date estate planning and a more connected client experience. It is available at no additional cost to joint users, currently in beta, with broader availability being rolled out.
