Masttro links wealth data to accounting systems through Truewind partnership

Masttro, a wealth-reporting platform, has partnered with Truewind, an AI accounting platform based in San Francisco. Family offices will be able to send their combined wealth data straight into accounting systems such as Sage Intacct as journal entries that are ready for review. Until now, this has usually meant rekeying the data by hand, often in spreadsheets at month-end.

Clients set up the link once by matching Masttro’s categories to their chart of accounts. After that, data moves across automatically and keeps its entity, ownership and asset-class detail. Truewind creates the journal entries, and the client’s accounting team reviews and posts them. Masttro stays the main record of the wealth data.

The data comes from three sources:

  • Masttro’s more than 700 direct connections to custodians in over 40 countries
  • Automatic extraction from capital-call and NAV statements
  • Its Alternatives AI tool, which values private holdings

Masttro says client data only moves when the client decides, is encrypted, and is not used to train AI models.

Masttro serves more than 400 family offices. Truewind has raised more than $17 million in total, including a $13 million Series A in December 2024 co-led by Rho Capital and Thomson Reuters Ventures.
