Addepar Appoints CRO and First Chief Client Officer

Addepar has appointed Peter O’Brien as Chief Revenue Officer and Janeen France as its first Chief Client Officer, adding senior leadership across global sales execution and client delivery as the firm scales internationally. O’Brien becomes Addepar’s first senior executive based in Europe, following recent office openings in Geneva and Dubai. He succeeds John Wiseman, who is reported to be exiting the company as part of the leadership transition. France’s remit focuses on onboarding, implementation, and ongoing client outcomes, aligning with Addepar’s positioning as a long-term data and analytics platform for investment managers and family offices. See a recent interview with France about their family office client strategy here.

Context:
The appointments follow Addepar’s Series G funding round in May, valuing the company at $3.25bn, and its increasing emphasis on AI and workflow automation, including the acquisition of AI workflow startup Arcus.

FOTechHub take:
Addepar’s recent moves point to a build-out of regional leadership and client infrastructure to support global growth. Its positioning as a data foundation for AI workflows is likely to appeal to lean family offices without dedicated data teams. While clients can extract data via exports and APIs, the platform’s core value remains in its data model, normalisation and analytical calculations, which sit inside Addepar. The result is a strategy focused on clean, multi-asset data and in-platform enablement — steadily embedding Addepar more deeply into day-to-day operations.
