Addepar has launched Addison, an opt-in AI feature embedded in its platform that lets investment professionals query and analyze portfolio data using natural language.
Drawing on Addepar’s unified data model, currently Addison provides permissioned, traceable outputs on areas such as performance drivers, exposures, and liquidity, drawing on Addepar’s unified data model to improve reliability and auditability.
The tool also reflects an effort to make a historically complex and resource-intensive platform easier to use, lowering the expertise and time required to extract value—particularly for smaller teams.
The release is an initial step in Addepar’s broader rollout of AI and automation across workflows. In development are capabilities such as proactive insight generation, market-aware context with cited sources, and agent-driven workflow automation for tasks like data management, forecasting, and reporting.
